Joe Biden, Dictator

Joe Biden Dictator

Kamala Harris and the democrats are shouting that Trump wants to be a dictator. Harris and all her surrogates are screaming “dictator”, “fascist”, “threat to democracy”. They have turned “MAGA” into a pejorative. Remember Biden’s dark threatening speech in which he said “Donald Trump’s campaign is about him. Not America, not you. Donald Trump’s campaign is obsessed with the past. Not the future. He’s willing to sacrifice our democracy to put himself in power”?

Obviously, they are ignoring the dictator in their midst, one Joseph Robinette Biden, Jr. who has issued over 140 executive orders. Unilaterally, he has shut down pipelines, stopped the exporting of liquified natural gas, denuded the Border Patrol, order agencies to harness advanced AI, extended national orders on national security and terrorism, ordered schools to make their active shooter drills less traumatic, ordered nationwide submission to the trans agenda, made at least 10 orders on diversity, and 690 proclamations such as the “Memorandum on Advancing the Human Rights of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, and Intersex Persons Around the World.” There is an executive order to “achieve a carbon pollution-free electricity sector by 2035 and net-zero emissions economy-wide by no later than 2050.” Biden unilaterally stopped new oil and gas leases on federal lands. The secretary of the interior was to also adjust coal, oil, and gas royalties in order to account for climate costs, suggesting the possibility of a royalty increase. I could go on and on and on. None of these actions were approved by the Congress. And what of all the mandates emanating from the agencies?

What about all the regulations? In 2023 Biden added a stunning 90,942 pages to the Federal Register, the second highest in history (Obama’s 95,894 is the record). This was in addition to the 79,856 pages he added in 2022. It is a wonder that America can function under the weight of all this paperwork. The estimates of the costs of compliance are as high as $700 billion a year. I would not be surprised if the actual costs are more than $1 trillion.

I have previously noted what I would do if I were dictator for a year. Add to that list that I would dictate that the number of pages in the Federal Register be capped, meaning that any new additions must be meet with an equal number of deletions.

Basically, the democrats don’t fear a dictatorship as long as it is their dictator.
